The Torrance campus of TGA Truck Driving Schools offers hands-on CDL training in the South Bay using modern Volvo semi trucks powered by compressed natural gas (CNG). This clean-burning fuel supports eco-friendly trucking practices while preparing students for the real-world demands of the commercial driving industry.
All trucks at our Torrance CDL school come equipped with industry-standard automated manual transmissions (AMTs), reflecting the growing shift toward automatic trucks across California and the U.S. The fully paved training yard provides ample space for practicing all required CDL backing maneuvers and features lighting for evening and nighttime driving instruction.
