The Downey campus is the flagship location of TGA Truck Driving School, fully licensed by the state and proudly serving the Gateway Cities region of Southern California. This includes the cities of Downey, Santa Fe Springs, Whittier, Norwalk, La Mirada, Long Beach, Paramount, South Gate, Huntington Park, Commerce and Montebello.
This location offers a full range of commercial driver’s license programs, including CDL Class A, Class B, and endorsements for hazardous materials, tank vehicles, and doubles/triples.

The Downey campus at TGA Truck Driving Schools offers hands-on CDL training using Freightliner M2 commercial vehicles powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), promoting a cleaner and more sustainable driving experience. All trucks are equipped with industry-standard automated manual transmissions (AMTs), reflecting the shift toward automatic trucks in today’s commercial transportation industry.
